FCC Event – HCC Hosting

NSW InterClub Winners, and new Resources for Clubs

Announcement of winners in the NSW InterClub 2024

This year’s InterClub competition is one of the largest in years.  More than 1,200 images and prints were entered by 18 Clubs using the new competition categories. 

The winning Clubs will be announced at 1:30PM this Sunday 27 October.  All Club members and the public are welcome.

To attend in person:  The event runs from 11AM – 3:30PM at the Richmond Club, 6 East Market St, Richmond NSW.  There is ample parking, dining and bars, and the day is a good way to see the entries and catch up with other photographers. Thank you to the Hawkesbury Camera Club for hosting this event.

Hawkesbury Camera Club members are invited to join members from other clubs for the event. This is a fantastic opportunity for members to experience competitions at rhe highest level of FCC. At competition exhibitions viewers are exposed to a wide variety of genres, styles and techniques. They are a wonderful learnign opportunity.

2024 AGM

2025 Nominations for Office Bearers & The Committee Members – NOW OPEN

The Hawkesbury Camera Club Inc’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) is to be held on Wednesday, 20^th November 2024.

Nominations are called for the Office-Bearers and Ordinary Committee Member Positions for 2025 Hawkesbury Camera Club Inc.

Nominations are now open.

As per the Constitution, Part 3, Clause 15, the nominations are to be delivered to the Secretary at least fourteen (14) days before the AGM.

You can nominate yourself or someone else that is interested in joining the 2025 committee and must complete the form in writing.

The nomination form can be completed (including signatures) at the club meetings during October & November.

The completed nomination forms must be forwarded to the Secretary – Marian Paap by 6^th November.

If there’s more than one nomination received for a position, a ballot will be held at the AGM.

NOMINATIONS DEADLINE – 6^TH NOVEMBER 2024.

The position:

1. President
2. Vice-President
3. Secretary
4. Treasurer

And up to Six (6) Ordinary Committee Members.

2024 FCC Interclub Competition

Image Selection – Permission

Over the past week the Club Committee has been busy selecting images previously submitted into the regular monthly Club competitions by Club Members to enter into the Federation Camera Clubs NSW Interclub Competition for 2024.

Congratulations to the many Club Members on the honour of having your image(s) selected to represent the Hawkesbury Camera Club!

As you may or may not know, as a member of the HCC you can choose to not have your images selected and entered. If this is your decision for the FCC NSW Interclub 2024 Competition, you need to notify the Committee (Marian, Club Secretary: secretary@hawkesburycameraclub.com.au) via email that you wish for your image(s) to be withdrawn.

In order to allow the Committee to find replacement images, you must notify Marian by 5pm on Thursday 3rd October.

Good luck to those members with images selected and entered!
